The 4L APPROACH© is a multi-purpose developmental tool that establishes a foundation to facilitate effective communication, cooperation, and coordination for leaders and individuals between and within groups, teams, and organizations. The 4L Approach© Program  builds this foundation by providing leaders and individuals a common framework and language to facilitate their communication and interaction. This is a self-sustaining, leadership modeling program that focuses on building individual, peer, and organizational trust and confidence through a clear understanding of the interrelationship of individual and group perceptions, personality, and how they respond to and manage stress. The 4L Approach© Program can be utilized: (1) as a stand-alone training module or (2) incorporated into existing leadership, development, and wellness programs.

4L Approach© Program’s foundation and its support assessments (perceptions, personality, and stress) are built upon the following psychological theories:

  • Erikson’s Psychosocial Theory of Lifespan Development
  • Bronfenbrenner’s Systems Approach
  • Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
  • Personality Type Theory (Jungian Type Theory – Attitudes & Functions)
  • The interrelatedness of ESC’s Categories of Perceptions  and ESC’s Categories of Stressors
